RECON MARINE
This is a marine that has defected and joined the combine forces. This will be a standard attack unit. Defensive capabilities are minimal unit is designed to be mobile with close to medium range weapons.

All weapons taken from single player portion of hl2. Flash Bang grenades will be similar to counter-strike flash bangs, but will produce a different effect depending on the creature being hit. Eg, slaves will suffer more from flash-bangs than a garg. The flash-bang will also cause the alien controller to momentarily lose control; ie the controller may fly at random without user input.

QUANTUM SOLDIER
Soldier has adapted teleportation technology for use in combat. The main goal of this class is to be a scout. This unit cannot provide good support fire but can move scout enemy positions and move quickly.

The gravity gun, and the magnum are taken directly from single player (magnum power may be reduced for balancing issues pending testing). The Teleport beacon will be thrown like a grenade. Once it lands it activates. The quantum soldier can then teleport him self to the location of the beacon. The enemy forces can destroy the beacon if enough damage is done to it. Initial thoughts are to make this beacon immune to lightning attacks.

BLACK-OPS FEMALE

The most stealth class of the bunch. This one is designed to sneak behind enemy lines and assinate targets.

The female black ops can activate its camouflage. Doing this casuses the assassin to become invisible if they stand still for three seconds. If they move/fire/do anything, the camouflage will wear off. While the camouflage ability is activated the black ops moves at 15% reduced movement speed.

This second black ops class is a cross between the assassin and the marine. It's not as tough as a marine, but has some special abilities to help it out.

The black ops male uses a body heat scanner to detect friendly/enemy units, and thus has a radar grid on his hud that shows friendly/enemy units (friendly in green, enemy in red). The silenced machine pistol will have around the same accuracy as the mp5, but will not have the range of the mp5 the machine pistol can be toggled between single, burst, and automatic fire.

ENSLAVED SCIENTIST
He's a little man, but with very big guns! With his spinning energy weapons he's one person you don't want to go one on one with. He also can heal his teammates or give them an extra edge in battle. His only weaknesses comes from his low health and lack of armor and backup weapons.

The Xen Slave is essentially a sniper with a zoom which is quite impressive for a cyclops. A fully charged shot can kill any human in one shot. He offers great support for other advancing Xen. Although weak at close range he may choose to suicide by overcharging, delivering a damaging explosive attack sure to suprise.

This is the full sized adult gargantua, he is fierce and just loves the way Human bones crack when he chews on them. He has a lot of health and armor, firepower, and decent speed; his only drawback is the same as Half-Life, short range.

Controller
The Controller is very flexible and can handle any tactical role. His speed and flying ability make him very nimble and quite aggravating; his eballs are hard to avoid when you have you no idea he's above you. His teleporting ability can bring entire forces anywhere he wants, or an enemy to somewhere they don't want to be. The controller can create unique tactical situations, but will require an experienced player to be used effectively.
